Gion (Japanese) is open for NYE and maybe NY day, but I'm not sure. The seafood place listed, Hammerheads, has a Prix Fixe menu for a lunch (last seating is 1:30, I believe) on Christmas Day. Not sure what we're going to do for dinner that night.
