Prior to the D Gates opening, I had been told UA and DL would share a club in the new terminal. But that was 3+ years ago and the DL/UA relationship appears to have stagnated, if not entirely gone south.

Initial expansion of the D Gates (extension of part of the X shape configuration) is being developed (see Airport Capital Improvement Program at www.mccarran.com) with a 2006 completion target. Whether that expansion will result in increased UA service beyond the current 39 flights remains to be seen.

IF, repeat IF, UA pulls off the US merger (and I don't consider it dead until the DOJ or UA/US say it is over), that will add some flights at LAS which might also increase the pressure for an RCC there sooner than later.
