Seat Selection Shenanigans
I recently returned to Gold Status and was looking forward to being able to switch my seating for my upcoming trip to Oz in F. Since BA rapidly booted me out of seats I had selected as a Gold upon my demotion to Silver 5 months ago, I not unreasonably expected to be able to grab the seat I really wanted (i.e. 1A or 1K) upon being promoted back to Gold.
What I have found for my 6 sector trip ex-CAI is that I can choose 1A CAI-LON but I am unable to select vacant 1A or 1K seats on any other sector. I just get the message "contact your service centre".
Is this something I can sort out by phone? If so do I need to call my service centre in Bremen (as a Eurocheat) or can I contact BAEC in the UK?
