The only way is through points.com, where you can exchange miles for gift certificates. However, the conversion rate is horrible and you can't get
real cash in any legitimate way.

There are a number of ways; points.com is one, but there's also a website that can show you a bunch of other ways to transfer miles through various programs... I don't remember the website though!
