Hello,

I'm trying to get to New Haven on a UA award ticket. I know UA doesn't fly to HVN, so I'm wondering what is the best airport to fly into. I'd like to rent a car at the airport I arrive in and drive it to New Haven. I'm open to driving up to, say, 100 miles max one-way. The default for now is EWR, but maybe someone knows of a smaller, less congested UA airport near New Haven, preferably with cheap rental cars? JFK and LGA aren't an option, because of congestion and expensive rental cars.

update, after having done some digging on my own: is BDL (Hartford) a good choice?
