From my latest RCC Membership Directory (printed 3/01), I am excerpting the relevant portions:
Admittance
  • Red Carpet Club reserves the right to limit Club access to members traveling on same-day United tickets.
Visitors
  • Guest limit in International Clubs is one, or spouse and dependent children.
I suggest that you keep you copy of the Membership Directory with you to avoid that situation. Though some clubs have snotty personnel, or sometimes just one ornery individual, I have yet to see any of them refuse to follow the printed rules.
