It is sad when a 737-800 is "ancient". Of course, it's not, but the cosmetic care it receives reflects poorly on AA. Seems UA's new efforts at "deep cleaning" aircraft and replacing carpets will wring some new life out of what really are much older 737 series aircraft in the UA fleet. It's all about managing customer perception within your business priorities.
