I went through CDG precisely 139 times since January 1, 2007, and never was I asked to remove my shoes. Most of my trips were from T1 (as I try to avoid the chaos that develops as soon as Air France is involved in anything).

I also travelled this morning on Air France from T2D and neither me nor people around me were systematically asked to take off their shoes.
