Thanks everyone. I like the Starwood idea since we LOVE the St. Regis in Laguna. My only concern is it's Amex and like many of you said, I'll need a VISA.
I checked the United Airlines site and they don't mention the 2mile/1 dollar, just 1 mile/doller. Is that offer expired?

Also, I just want to confirm that Delta and UA miles are interchangable? I'm pretty sure I've seen that reference in the past. Thanks again.
