Wow this is getting scary.. You guys are always asking for common sense. Flight and cabin crews can take liquids through the checkpoint. Why? We have to trust someone!. If you don't trust the security guy... FYI Police Oficers bring GUNS through the checkpoints everyday!!!!
In fact the liquids ban was begun by the British aviation authority, and backed by IATA. The US and TSA didn't invent it. It's a more creditiable threat than you think!
