Thanks, Chipper, for the details.

It might not be that UA has more business travelers paying more. It could be that AA is paying more to VDBs.

I agree with you concerning the expectation gap between SW and standard service airlines. I'm sending SW my complaints by going to extra trouble to avoid them (like flying CO through IAH just to get to DFW from AUS).
