Strange call to BOA Customer Service on this card. My wife called to cancel her card and was told "all points earned with card would be lost upon cancellation". She has had the card for four years so it's not a case of churning and trying to get a quick bonus for initial signup and then cancelling. Anyone ever hear of this happening? I think she may have misunderstood and the agent was saying "points earned for the current month would not count" or something like that. Just wanted to check to see if any FTers had encountered anything like this with BOA.
