Graraps, East coast would be a fine thing.... For my company its LHR-SFO.... fortunately I only have to go 1-2 times a year.

When time is an issue, I've paid for my own upgrades at check-in, so I could function properly at the other end .... and when I havent been time-constrained, I've travelled earlier than necessary in order to be more alert when I need to be. Which means time away from home, time out of the office, and an extra night's hotel bill and meals....something the beancounters in purchasing dont consider when forcing us into "whY" !
