Thanks again for the responses everyone. We will definitely be going for the train now, wouldn't want to mix it with the chains and leather.
I'm pleased to hear pleasant responses about the service because I'd heard about Amtrak being basic and bordering on dirty. All in all though, we're not too concerned about either, just wanted the best option. Looks like Amtrak it is!
Should I buy the tickets online first or buy them at the station? Is there usually a difference in price?
