There is TATL and TATL! It's one thing flying SNN-BOS and quite another going SVO-SCL! If I had to fly WHY regularly on the UK - East coast US route, I'd be looking at Icelandair's offerings, as the KEF transfer breaks the flight into two very manageable short sectors.
