This is my first trip report (hopefully of many) so please tell me what I can do to improve.

Check-In
I got to the AA Premium checkin about 90 min prior to departure. I was third in line. The line went slow at first because the two people checking in (different partys) were both checking pets. Once I got to the front of the line everything went smooth. I checked two bags thru to St. Lucia.

Departure
Since boarding was done through one of the front doors, pre departure beverage service did not start until 5 min prior to the doors closing. We were offered OJ or Water.

In Flight Serivce.
About 30 min after takeoff one of the FAs took meal orders via FEBO. I was in row 3. As he was taking orders he was also asking for what drink we wanted with breakfast. The two choices were
A Cheese Omlet w/sasuage and potatos.
or
Silver dollar pancakes w/some sort of meat. (My Choice)

Both came with a side of fruit and a bagel. The pancakes were dry and did not have that much flavor.

After meal service was done the FAs pretty much stayed in the galley the whole rest of the flight. We had to walk up to the galley to ask for a refill of our drinks.

Arrival
Before landing mints were given out. We landed 15 min early into San Jaun via gate 6. I then went to the AC for my long layover.

Rating
I thought the FAs could have offerd us refills on our drinks and not just sit in the galley the whole flight. The meal was pritty bland. I was hoping to get one of the AA oatmeal cookies before landing but we did not. But for a 3.15 hour flight I really can't complain. I hope though if I fly AA from IAD-LAX the service and food will be better. I am now in the AC waiting for my 6:20 flight to SLU.
