My Pan Am account folded over to Delta and I was assigned a 4017.... account.

Incidentally I lost 20K miles then as I had a Pan Am voucher for 20K miles. I called up Delta and they told me to mail it in, which I did. My mistake was not sending it by certified post. Delta claimed to have never received the cert, and told me that there was nothing I could do to get the miles (I had the other certs with me which PanAm had sent me along with the air cert, but Delta would not take those certificates or their numbers to investigate what happened to the certificate).
