OT - Air NZ Review AKL-LAX 08/11/07 NZ2

No cue for check in, and only 1 security line was open, again no cue. Lounge was very quite, as was the flight, the load in Y+ was light, and Y seemed like it was not even 50% full. No cue for showers and they had battered hot dogs as the hot option, the dessert that was brought round was a choice of cheese cake or Pavalova I think.

I did not receive the seat I had requested the day after booking. Again, check staff in lied to me, I was informed that there were no isle seats forward of mine, upon boarding I counted maybe 6 or 7 (very poor form Air NZ).

Dinner was a choice of herb crusted chicken or Lamb casserole.

Crew (NZ based) was efficient (not that it’s hard with such a light load). But not memorable, not at all friendly and the FA I had serving drinks always had a bit of an attitude, like I was wasting her time by asking for a couple of different drinks (like soda water to go with my wine). I have my LAX-LHR leg on UA (if I make the 2h54 connection), so I will have another crew to rebase my thoughts on.
