I presume you are in the eastern US. If you want to go to NAN, I would suggest you look at a non-stop from LAX such as FJ (Air Pacific) because it is an easy routing. They codeshare with both QF and NZ on the route.

It is possible to get there using KE via ICN if you're looking to do it specifically for the mileage. The following are the ICN-NAN / NAN-ICN flights KE offers:

ICN-NAN - KE 821 - Airbus A332
Operates: Su, T, Th

Departs ICN: 6:55pm
Arrive NAN: 8:10am +1

Return service is:

NAN-ICN - KE 822 - Airbus A332
Operates: M, W, F

Departs NAN: 9:35am
Arrives ICN: 5:25pm (same day)

KE 36, operates daily, from ATL makes a perfect connection to KE 821. KE 36 departs ATL 12:05pm and arrives ICN 5:20pm +1

Returning to ATL it looks like DL 92 is the only flight that sync's with the schedule. DL 92 is also sold as a KE codeshare - KE 7035.

DL 92 only operates on T, W, Sat. DL 92 departs ICN at 6:35pm and arrives ATL 6:15pm on the same day.

When looking at the schedule, remember it is a +1 arrival into ICN and again a +1 arrival into NAN.

Outbound KE 36 to KE 821
Return KE 822 to KE 7035 (DL 92)

The dates I used were 1/12/08 departing and 1/23/08 for the return. KE 822 on the return on 1/23 (the test date I used) is zero'd out in all classes. KE 821 showed at least 4 in all classes except X.

I would suggest you look into the above schedule if you do want to fly KE / Skyteam to NAN.

It's been a number of years since I have been to NAN, but Fiji is absolutely spectacular. Some great hotels & resorts on the coral coast and the locals are some great people. I'm looking at returning for a visit next year myself.

With respect to fares:

QHEE6M seems to be the lowest fare basis on KE. Round trip is $2198 USD.

The cheapest ATL-NAN fare is a QBULART fare basis offered by FJ for $1315 USD, minimum stay of 5 days.

ATL-LAX can be routed on AA/CO/US/NW for this specific fare.
