Makes about as much sense as taking a bottle of water away from an 80 year old lady, doesn't it?

Or forcing people to check their Dr. Scholl's gel filled shoe inserts, right?

Under new security measures put in place by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), airline passengers are not permitted to board aircraft with gel insoles in their
carry-on baggage or on their persons.

TSA regulations do allow passengers to pack their gel insoles in checked baggage.

As an alternative, travelers may wish to use Dr. Scholl's insole products such as
Memory Fit® Customizing Insoles.
Man, I'm really NOT gellin!!!!
