The Magic 3 system is only available for their B767-300ER, B777-200ER and B777-300ER. Since JAL doesn't use 777s or 767s for their US routes, they don't offer the Magic 3 entertainment system. The only flights that come close are to Kona or Guam operating in/out of Narita.
That's what I exactly thought too. When I checked the flight schedule, however, it said there's MAGIC-3 on economy class, while the premium classes have MAGIC-2 or lower. I thought that was kind of strange. haha
Any comment on that? :/
