If I have to pay extra I will but I don't want to risk using the bus. VERY bad experience in London when tried to take the bus to the airport (tube not running) and will never do it again (long but very interesting story about being physically assaulted and kicked at the bus stop in Picadilly by a violent “rugby looking” drunk and no one seemed to care, the bus came by over 45 minutes late at 4:30 AM which was 10 minutes after my full-day pass expired (4:20 AM) so the driver sent us off the bus to buy a new ticket from the machine at the curb but then he drove off immediately. We tried to chase him in a taxi so we could ride that bus but it went through every single red light (he knew he was very late). Finally, we caught up with a different bus and made it to the airport late but they had already booted me from my seat. BA was nice enough to put me in the only available seat in J because SEA should have checked me in for that next day continuing flight to Germany). Hope to post the full story sometime and I have not been to London again since after visiting multiple times. I know Hong Kong is different but bus thing probably won’t happen.
