When I wrote "earliest retirement" what I meant is that these ships will be retired first. That timeline will be, as you write, once the 787's start being delivered, so it will take some time, probably about a decade till the last 767 is gone. At that point all the overseas flights on CO will be in 31" seat pitch unless management has a change of heart regarding Y or PE.
