Wow...Milanos.

What I love (hate) about Fairfields is that where there are Courtyards and Fairfields close to one another, the Fairfield is rarely enough cheaper than the Courtyard to justify the difference in service levels.

Just the other night, I stayed in a Courtyard property in Indianapolis that was $19 more than the Fairfield 600 yards away.

For my $19 I got a bigger room, with a nicer bed and linens, farther away from the noise of the freeway. Although the sign in my room said I needed to pay for internet access, it didn't appear on my bill. Oversight or design, I can't say, but I'm not complaining.

I missed out on a free Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast sandwich I wasn't going to eat anyway.

It's not that I think the Courtyard was a deal, it's that I thought the Fairfield should have been cheaper than it was.

Am I alone on this?
