With only one agent working most flights, I can't think of any time one agent wasn't able to get all the duties done and dispatch the flight on-time.
Anyway, I left SFO this morning on a 763 that boarded through 1L - wasn't pleasant. It was at a gate with dual bridges to boot! There was also a priority boarding lane for First, Business and elite members that wasn't being used. Was marked with a sign and a red carpet mat but no agent.

Unfortunately, (IIRC) all 767s have 1 L&R but no 2 L&R; ie no 2 door behind F/J. Same goes for 737 (before anybody asks) so there is no option on these aircraft.
