AMEX Platinum Club/Lounge Access: Name Issues?

I just got a new AMEX Platinum a month ago and have a flight tomorrow morning on AA (which I do not typically fly) and was wondering about verification for club access.

It says I have to present the AMEX, my boarding pass, and a gov't issued identification. My main issue is the name on my ID vs. Boarding Pass vs. Credit Card contains slight variations. They are all "basically" the same, but also different. For example:

Boarding Pass: Bob Kelly
Drivers License: Robert Kelly
AMEX Card: Rob Kelley

(this is just an example)

It's a long story (goes back a decade when someone mis-typed my name and my credit report has reflected the error ever since, so 50% of my credit is issued with the correct last name (Kelley vs. Kelly) and I also use my real formal name and the shortened/nickname everywhere.

So... my question: How closely do the people look at the name, or do they just glance at it? TIA!
