I signed up for the best offer for the U.S. Airways Dividend Miles Mastercard.
As many of you know, this came with a perk of 10,000 EQM, a perk associated only with this offer.

The credited my account with 25K miles, but no EQM.

My welcome package letter clearly states this benefit:

No asterisk, no exceptions. No "certain restrictions apply".

The CST at Dividend Miles SC said that benefit only comes after spending $25,000 on the card within a year.

When I asked Robert, at the Escalation Deptartment why my welcome letter confirmed my claim and contradicted his, he had a ready explanation. "It's a misprint."

Is he confused, maybe because there are 500 different offers?
Or is he just a goddamn liar?
