Make sure power is off and the other end of the cable is unplugged. Get a tiny screw driver or even a needle and try to press the plastic clip with the needle, deeper than you can with your fingers. Then, pull the cable.

If you're still unable to extract the cable, pull it out with the clip attached. All you'll do is break the clip on cable. Nothing should happen to the LAN port if this is done correctly.
