I have a blanket that folds up into a little pillow case so I can cover the used and possibly stinky pillow and not worry about the sanitary issues.

I will repeat what Larry J said here in a round about way - what is the difference between your using a used blanket ( one that was cleaned last night by the way ) and sitting on a seat that someone else has sat on.
