We are exploring methods of enhancing the customer experience on the CRJ-200. Any improvement must first meet our financial expectations for sustainability. We continue to explore all options available in responding to customer requests about this aircraft. Yes, thank you for addressing this rumor. When things sound too good to be true, they most often are.
So, I wonder how NW might provide "an improved flying experience for our most valuable customers"? Poor space/seating is the primary problem for the CRJs. If there is no FC seating/service, then perhaps NW could remove a row of seats to increase legroom -- at least for the first 3 or 4 rows (an economy plus section). I don't think a free alcoholic drink for elites would really improve the experience (although with enough of them, that could diminish the pain
).
