Yes, thank you for addressing this rumor. When things sound too good to be true, they most often are.

So, I wonder how NW might provide "an improved flying experience for our most valuable customers"? Poor space/seating is the primary problem for the CRJs. If there is no FC seating/service, then perhaps NW could remove a row of seats to increase legroom -- at least for the first 3 or 4 rows (an economy plus section). I don't think a free alcoholic drink for elites would really improve the experience (although with enough of them, that could diminish the pain ).
