Seems airfares ex-USA to HKG and SIN are up several hundred bucks since I last checked a couple of weeks ago. Makes so sense, with UA offering deep discounts out of Australasia and the slack demand in the USA (every other corporate headline I read has a blurb about about cutbacks in travel budgets).
