Sorry, but I'm with Climbguy - the thought of someone handing me a used pillow/blanket was so unfathomable to me that when I finally did get a blanket that smelled like BO and cologne I figured it out. I thought they just tossed them out and replaced them or cleaned them after use. But then again, I had no idea about the hotel bedspreads either -
I have a blanket that folds up into a little pillow case so I can cover the used and possibly stinky pillow and not worry about the sanitary issues.
