Maybe, tried to use miles from family member account last year, ask to use her miles as she was my "spouse" with 3p status.... same last name, for 45K, RCC agent said should have to cough up 55k for me and 85K for me and spouse under her Premier Status. I assume if your sponsor is 1K that may work.^
