I think DJ will knock the stuffing out of ZL on SYD-ABX. Mrs og does this run monthly on ZL (and particularly likes the soft product). Her complaint is that her flight seems routinely late and, whilst she has not been impacted, is certainly aware of ZL cancelling flights. The ZL media this week about stranded pax due to cancellations is a case in point. She is thinking that a ZL flight (anywhere) is more risky for delays and cancellations than QF (and DJ?). May not be a real risk, but ZL have created an unreliability perception.

Therefore, she will happily walk onto DJ to "give 'em a go". She knows the QF Crash8 and is not depending on the run to keep WP status (hey, we may be able to give each other partner SG this year). Maybe she will be totally price sensitive now that the $139 fare is now selling for $88 (IIRC).

While I like ZL (because it pressures QF), I do think they will feel the pressure before anyone else.
