Yesterday did my last miles run for 1K status after planned trip at the end of the this month. Upgraded on all, no problem.
All flights were on time, except DEN to SEA where the capital had discovered a screw in one of the tires, replaced the tire and we left about 15 mins late.
All crew were friendly and personable, service was good Seattle to ORD(757), but the best was on the BWI to DEN flight(757). The Capitan came out to explain our route and issue with bumpie conditions along the way. He walked from the front to rear of the F cabin and back as he spoke. Asked if anyone had any questions, the it was Let fly to Denver! Pretty cool! Capitan was Bruce Jewett. F cabin flight crew Shirley Gray and Clyde Otsuji went out of there way to make it an enjoyable flight too!
I'm glad to stay 1K for 2008!
