I have been having the same problem for the past two weeks, and frankly it is getting very frustrating, especially since I have booked a number of tickets and award tickets in this time period. (At least there is still UA CXN!)
I've contacted the web customer support multiple times, and they have been of no help. I've simply been told that they are aware of the problem and working on it.
I do agree that this is absolutely ridiculous... it's time for a letter to customer relations.
