As it was an international flight the boarding agent was supposed to check passports match boarding cards, remove the green immigration form and allow us to board. Our agent allegedly did this but the boarding card name did not match the passport or the green form and yet she allowed us to board, her only concern was that we could operate the emergency exit.

The simple and more forgiveable mistake was us being boarding cards in someone else's names. The non-forgiveable mistake was that the agent failed to comply with the most basic of security requirements (that I am who I say I am) and allowed us to board.

Our main concern was that if other people were given our boarding cards and boarded as us, and misbehaved or worse, it could seriously affect us being allowed to fly, particularly to the US again.
