I gave up my AC for AmexPlt this year. Amex screwed up the setup and I had a couple of weeks with neither. Never again. Trying to find a free plug near a gate at LAX to charge my laptop clarified that for me! The only noticable difference is that it takes longer to check in. The clearly have a lot of data to enter, rather than just scanning the card. A problem for dragons,but not for me That said, until I see a difference, I'm happy with the AmexPlt. I see no difference when I'm inside. I haven't seen overcrowding because of AmexPlt. IAD, ORD, LAX are all overcrowded at times regardless.
