My membership is up for renewal this month. Has anyone dropped their Admiral's Club membership and started using the Platinum Card for admission instead?

Have you noticed any difference in the way you're treated, problems answered, questions resolved, drink chits issued, etc.?

Seems a waste of the miles if they still welcome you but not if you're treated like a second-class citizen. Which, in the old days, one sometimes was when using AX to access TWA's Ambassador Clubs.
