True - unless you leave out the cost of the "mandatory operating system" built into Mac prices, which makes the difference today much larger than tiny. With PC architecture, you have your choice of about ten major OSs with dozens of variants, from RTOSs to Home Theater Personal Computer configurations like MythTV.

Thanks. I will. Or I'll buy twice as much computer in PC parts (which Apple won't sell you) for the same money as a mid-range Apple. And get Ubuntu off the Internet for free. Oh - I already did that.
