I pretty much fly only Air Canada, and know their (not very forgiving) change policies at the airport on the day of travel.

A good friend of mine is flying YHZ - EWR on Saturday on the 8:50 AM flight (2577). Some weather is going to be coming through here on Saturday, and going on the 6:30 AM flight (2879) would minimize some delay risk. It is, after all, travel for the NYC Marathon, and missing out on that would suck.

What are CO's rules for same day stand by for earlier flight? One is a revenue ticket, the other is a reward ticket. KVS is showing >9 seats so space is not predicted to be a problem.

Thoughts anyone?
