My husband and I have a 5 night stay in Singapore in November, where we are doing a recce to see if we would like to move there so will be spending some time just soaking up the atmosphere as well as looking at properties etc. However, we also need some real chill out time and very comfortable surroundings as we are flying in economy from London which always needs some recovering from (!) and will be starting the trip pretty exhausted as we have a very busy run-up to it too.
I was thinking about spending the first 2 nights at the Sentosa Resort for some flopping by the pool and then 3 nights at either the FS, RC or MO (basically we get corporate rates so all of the 5 stars in the city and on Sentosa will cost us approx 250 SGD, so price isn't really a consideration - i'm more interested in which one has the nicest pool/spa/their location/comfort of rooms etc).
Which hotel would people suggest - i have never been to Singapore so don't know anything about them beyond their websites, and also do you think the Sentosa idea is a good one?
