I am planning to send my passport in (Expedited service) to change my name due to marriage and also to renew it. Does anyone know what happens to my visas contained in my current passport? I have seen from searching previous posts that people tend to get the old passport back, but if the visas are in the old passport and under my old name, are they still valid? Or do they move the visa pages over to the new passport or something? I'd appreciate if anyone could explain to me what happens.
