Other lounge thoughts, while I'm at it..... the whole area didn't seem as big as I'd expected. No doubt it'll look bigger when it's finished.
I'm surprised you managed to get up stairs to have a peep into the lounges. They are supposed to be off limits.
Just to clarify, if you only went to the first level, then you were looking at either the Concorde Room or the Galleries First lounge. The main Galleries Club lounge is the second level. The Concorde Room is designed to seat approx 156, the Galleries First - 556; Galleries Club - 850 and the Galleries Club North - 440. These are the main lounges, the T5B is mainly for those within 90mins of a T5B departure and who wish to make their way to T5B and wait for boarding.
