Actually, two things happened at the same time :

1. I received my Diner's Club M/C;
2. I found out about the MBNA SPG card. =)

I have just applied online for the MNBA card. It does have great bonuses, but the reason I got the Diner's Club one was only for the complimentary ticket. I found out about it while researching the Amex Platinum on this site...

Too bad for those 5000 points, seems they'll be somewhat wasted, but I'm sure I'll come up with something. =)
