I was wondering the same thing. I comped from UA 1K last year and requested a match to US CP, but they only gave me a match to US Plat. As the only reason I really wanted the comp was for the US CP perks, I didn't even want the US Plat I was wondering at the time if I could reject it. I never did and I haven't used it but once when I randomly got a US segment thrown into my itinerary.................what a waste..............
