It's back on! (But I'm not taking advantage quite yet...)

F available for upgrades from J, as per e-mail just received today, 31 October 2007. (Must be that they are not filling their F, and many people are stuck in J, with no possibility of Y to upgrade into J - you guys that fly international can fill us in on this viewpoint!):

"Dear Mr. SuperFlyBoy,

We are pleased to inform you that, with effect from 1st November'07, JetPrivilege members can use their Upgrade Vouchers for upgrade from Premiere to our exclusive First Class suite. This facility is available only against purchased Premiere tickets.

Upgrades against vouchers are permitted only on Jet Airways operated and marketed flights for a one class upgrade, i.e. from a purchased Economy ticket to Premiere or purchased Premiere ticket to First Class.

The number of upgrade vouchers required for a one way upgrade from Premiere to First Class, on the basis of travelled distance, is as below:

- Less than 1500 Miles - 3 Vouchers,

- Between 1501 and 3000 Miles - 4 Vouchers,

- Between 3001 and 4750 Miles - 5 Vouchers,

- Between 4751 and 6500 Miles - 6 Vouchers,

- Between 6501 and 8500 Miles - 7 Vouchers,

- Between 8501 and 10500 Miles - 8 Vouchers,

- Over 10501 Miles - 9 Vouchers.

We currently offer the First Class suite on all services operated, using our Boeing - 777 aircraft on flights between Mumbai/Delhi to New York, Newark, London and Brussels. The number of vouchers required on each of these sectors are as below:

- Mumbai/Delhi to London LHR - 5 Vouchers

- Mumbai/Delhi to Brussels - 5 Vouchers

- Mumbai/Delhi to New York/Newark - 7 Vouchers

- Brussels to New York/Newark - 5 Vouchers

Usage Guidance for Upgrade Vouchers:

- Elite Tier Upgrade Vouchers and Jet Airways Citibank Vouchers can be used on domestic and international flights, marketed and operated by Jet Airways, subject to availability of seats for the purpose of upgrades.

- JetPrivilege members may request for upgrades when travelling on any purchased, published fare on eligible Jet Airways flights.

- Upgrade to Premiere can only be used in conjunction with a purchased Economy ticket in Y, M, T, U, L, N, Q, S and K class of booking.

- JetPrivilege Platinum members, for an upgrade to Premiere, can also use their upgrade vouchers in conjunction with a purchased Economy ticket in H, V, O and W class of booking.

- Upgrade to First Class can be used in conjunction with a purchased Premiere class ticket in C, J, Z and I class of booking.
