The Trident Hilton (15 minutes walking distance but not with luggage) had a great buffet dinner when I stayed there earlier this year. They do provide free transportation for folks staying there but I don't know if they'll do that for a dinner guest. It is worth giving them a call. Walking on streets in India takes some getting used to and so I'd not recommend it if this is your first visit to Inida. Crossing the main road near the airport can be a challenge.

It'll be an expensive meal considering the cost of a visa to get that buffet dinner
