SQ does not have the new business class on YVR-ICN-SIN, they do have it on SFO-ICN-SIN, though. Look out for the 77W aircraft code to make sure it is a 777-300ER with the new seats. The new business class seats are not angled at all, they are fully flat and provide a lot of space, except for your head when you turn it into a bed. To give you an idea of the overall space, the configuration in both business and first is 1-2-1 (!). Take a look at www.singaporeair.com

However, the service on SQ is probably superior to that of AC, in their respective business class cabins.
Very much so and also consistantly better.
