Right now, you can get IAD-SAN weekday r/t for less than $400 on B6, but IAD-SEA on UA or DCA-SEA on AS is still running over $600.
Good Point,
I was adding a selfish desire, revenue wise you are 100% right; wishful thinking
Is an airport running out of gate capacity an attractive market or unattractive?
The airport (SAN) is operating with 70% of its total gate capacity of 64 gates and will soon add 10 more gates taking the airport to 86% of its total gate capacity.
I wonder how much brand recognition VA gets with other virgin airlines. The summer in SAN is LOADED with Europeans/South Americans. Is VA banking on brand recognition from those traveling from across the Atlantic?
